Yes, it’s an automotive client you’d be looking after and yes, I’m too hot and sticky to bother writing a

decent advert but come on, you know the drill.

To be fair, these types of roles don’t come around often so this is a great way to ‘accelerate’ your

career.  (that’s the level to expect today).

Why is it different?

Well for a start you’re the lead client liaison, so you no longer have to filter your thoughts and ideas

though someone else who will take all the credit in front of the client.

We’ve all worked for that a$$hole person, or maybe you’re still working for them.

The thing here is the client is a huge auto brand with a massive portfolio of events and they need your

strategic guidance to create an annual campaign rather than individual activations

You’ll sit with the client’s marketing, content, creative and comms, so your diverse background will really

come in handy as the team will want to hear what you have to say and as there’s no filter, you can call

the shots.

Developing a client relationship built on trust is a big thing here as you’ll help develop their ideas and

objectives into a comprehensive brief which you can add value to and dissect for the internal agency

team.

Internally you’ll work with the creative and design team to ensure the project delivers on the client

expectations and fingers crossed, exceeds them.

Overseeing the project and delivery team is so important and you will have complete autonomy (not a

car gag, that’s just the word) on direction of response and ultimately execution of the project. .
